Birdsong Communication Skills is led by professional actors Louise Montgomery and Fiona Ormiston, both of whom trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Over three decades, we have forged strong relationships with a wide range of organisations that have consistently chosen to utilise our skills. Our company was founded to provide high-quality, competitively priced services to those who already trust our expertise and for new clients looking to achieve and surpass their goals.
Our name Birdsong Communication Skills was inspired by the natural beauty and complexity of birdsong, which is one of the most remarkable forms of communication in the animal world. We believe that, like birdsong, communication should be both purposeful and melodic, capable of bringing people together and creating understanding. It's our mission to teach skills that go beyond mere words, focusing on the rhythms, tones, and nuances that make communication truly impactful.

As a celebrant, Fiona leads meaningful ceremonies for life’s most significant moments, while also pursuing her passion as an artist. As a street theatre perfomer and singer in multiple bands, Louise is also used to engaging an audience. She is also a television continuity announcer, a role that relies on presence to connect with viewers.
